EMS Program Instructor/Coordinator

This is a professional contracted position responsible for the administration, organization and supervision of the Emergency Medical Services Program. Administration of the learning process (teaching) is to be accomplished in accordance with Federal regulation and standards, Florida State law, and Florida Gateway College Board Policies. The primary responsibility of this position is to the student in the classroom, laboratory, and during clinical experience. This position is responsible for long range planning and ongoing development of the EMS program. Ability to present information in a coherent manner and the ability to fairly evaluate student retention of that information. Computer literate. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of subject matter. Meets with and be approved by the Program Medical Director. Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services or closely related field required. Minimum of three years full time work experience as a paramedic. Master’s Degree Preferred.
