School Counselor
The Hannibal Central School District is seeking a dedicated, student-centered School Counselor to join our team beginning in Summer 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and compassionate professional who is committed to helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Qualifications:

Valid New York State School Counselor Certification required

Experience in K-12 school counseling preferred

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with students, families, staff, and community partners

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Providing academic, career, and social-emotional counseling

Collaborating with faculty, families, and external supports

Assisting with scheduling, transition planning, and post-secondary readiness

Utilizing data to guide decision-making

Participating in district and building-level teams aligned with student success
