Madison Public Schools are excited to announce the creation of a new director position that will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of our administration and faculty as we ensure that our students are best prepared for a globally connected and technology-rich future. The position will report directly to Superintendent Mark Schwarz. The ideal candidate for the Director of Curriculum and Instruction will demonstrate: Superior interpersonal skills and intrapersonal integrity, with a strong commitment to inclusive educational programs and equitable student outcomes. Evidence of their professional impact on student achievement across various demographic subgroups. Contagious enthusiasm for improving teaching, learning, metacognition, and assessment practices. Proficiency in blended learning practices, including the implementation of instructional technology, student information systems, and learning management systems. The ability to organize and analyze various types of data sets, including the creation of data visualizations that facilitate information sharing with our stakeholders. Competent understanding of the body of academic research pertaining to learning, self-regulation, resilience, and achievement. NJ Principal Certification required. Principal/Asst. Principal experience, preferred. Anticipated salary range between $140,000 and $160,000, commensurate with qualifications. Madison Public Schools is an equal opportunity employer.
