Boys Modified Baseball Coach

The Laurens Central School District is currently accepting applications for a Boys' Modified Baseball Coach for the 24-25 school year. Candidates must have NYS Coaching We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Boys Modified Baseball Coach to lead and develop our middle school baseball team. The coach will be responsible for organizing and conducting practices, teaching fundamental baseball skills, and fostering teamwork and sportsmanship among players. Duties include developing game strategies, managing game-day activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of baseball rules and techniques, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both players and parents. Previous coaching experience, particularly with youth or middle school athletes, is preferred. The coach must be committed to creating a positive and encouraging environment that promotes skill development and a love for the game. A background in physical education or a related field is a plus. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young athletes' lives.
