Roxbury Central School has the following anticipated openings: One-Year Teacher Aide Position, Temporary Teacher Aide position at a rate of $16.78/hour with benefits as per the CSEA contract starting immediately and going through 6/30/25. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher Aide to assist in creating a supportive and effective learning environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to provide academic and behavioral support to students.

Responsibilities include assisting with classroom management, preparing instructional materials, supervising students during activities, and providing one-on-one support to students with diverse needs. The Teacher Aide will also help maintain a clean and organized classroom, monitor student progress, and collaborate with the teacher to ensure a positive educational experience. Strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for working with children are essential. Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional training in early childhood education or special education is a plus. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional development.
