Minimum Qualifications: Bachelorýs Degree or equiv. exp. in Safety/Security; private Security Officer Cert.; four yrs. Adm. Asst. exp.; Valid AR driverýs license AND CPR & 1st aid cert.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelorýs degree or equivalent experience in Safety and Security Private Security Officer Certification required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to interact with individuals at all levels, handle sensitive and confidential situations in a professional manner. Minimum of four years as an administrative assistant required. Valid Arkansas driver's license. Possess CPR and First Aid certification.
JOB GOAL: Assists the Facilitators of Security in the oversight of security services by planning, organizing, assigning, directing, and reviewing the activities of the Safety and Security Department.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in developing and monitoring budget allocations, expenditures, fund balances and related financial activities. Must exhibit in-depth knowledge and application of organizational and departmental programs priorities to include mission, goals and objectives. Assist in the preparation of the security budget. Assist in leading the day to day operations of the Department of Safety and Security; investigations, CPR scheduling, Private Security Officer (PSO) scheduling, new hire processing, and other related school security services and activities. Assist office personnel in regard to work assignments and coordination with contract services and vendors. Prepare Departmentýs payroll and attendance time records. Coordinate activities with other agencies; and perform a variety of administrative and technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. Serve as point of contact on identified after-school events that require additional security. Work closely with the Facilitators of Safety and Security to establish and recommend priorities on master planning data entry, monthly/quarterly drills, drug testing, camera repairs and installation. Manage and maintain software and data programming for Safety and Security. (School Dude Maintenance Suite, Rave and Eyewitness data, Control Access and CCTV). Prepare and submit fire, tornado, and lockdown drills to the Department of Education. Maintain a variety of manual and electronic documents, files and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date information and/or historical reference in accordance with established administrative guidelines and legal requirements. Assist Safety and Security Facilitators with employee training scheduling, PSO, CPR and Professional development/ administrative annual workshops. Prepare new employee files and updating current employeeýs files. Manage and update meeting/training material and equipment (e.g. Uniforms, Chromebooks, folders and binders) Coordinate and maintain District ý wide and Federal mandated DOT / Random Drug Testing. Maintain confidential case files. Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: Range 10 - Support Staff Hourly
Salary Schedule ($15.20/hour - $27.07/hour) depending on relevant experience)
