Western Nebraska Community College is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Welcome Center Specialist.
Responsibilities: Lead a one-stop Welcome Center that provides positive and personalized customer service to students, staff, faculty, and stakeholders. Receive training and ensure student staff are adequately trained to respond to and provide accurate guidance on a multitude of questions about WNCC processes and services, both credit and non-credit. Ensure quality, equitable service is delivered in person, by phone and/or virtually.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred. Significant customer service experience in a public-facing role is required. Experience with scheduling, supervision, multi-line phones, and working with the public in a customer service role preferred. Fluent bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
Salary: Commensurate with excellent benefits.
Start Date: Immediate.
